Museum Bees

Museum Bees are unique objects of art we make by recycling antique picture frames.  Located in Louisville, KY, we create these pieces by pairing the frames with small ornamental treasures.  Though the name derives from the first gilded Napoleonic Style Bees we used; there are also other assorted animals, insects, ceramics and antique objects added. The frames are American and mostly date from 1860 - 1880.  Big or Small, they are all priced for $55 and range from 1" to 6".
